IMPORTANT TRANSPORTATION UPDATE
FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS!
NOTE: If you are already successfully using the Cariina Parent App for schedule updates, please disregard. And thank you for your continued cooperation and support!
To ensure timely updates to parents/guardians regarding the safe transport of our students, the LPS transportation department will strictly enforce bus rider guidelines. Effective January 6, 2026, parents/ guardians of ALL bus riders must utilize the Cariina Parent App to make bus schedule requests (car riders, pick-up/drop-off changes, late arrival, early pick-up, etc.). The Cariina staff will receive, process, and update all bus schedule change requests. The front office staff at LPS will no longer be able to receive such requests.
Parents/Guardians who are making permanent bus schedule changes must complete the LPS Transportation Request form, and attached proof of residency. Submit the completed form and documentation to records@lincolnprep.school, or drop off at the front office. Please allow 24-48 hours for processing.
It is imperative that you keep your contact information (email and cell phone) current at the front office and on the Cariina Parent App. Change requests made on the Cariina Parent App are synced with your LPS data nightly, to ensure accuracy. LPS nor Cariina assume no responsibility for requests unprocessed due to outdated contact information.

LINCOLN PREPARATORY SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT
Regular School Year
The transportation department at Lincoln Preparatory School will provide transportation to/from the home address for students living more than 1 mile from the school within Lincoln Parish. Out-of-district students are provided transportation on a space-available basis. We do not provide convenience stops. If students occasionally require transportation to a location other than home, parent/guardian must use the Cariina Parent App to update each time such an event occurs.
Summer School & Intercession
Transportation for summer school and intercession is provided--as a courtesy--at strategic, pick-up and drop-off points that will be determined based on availability. It will be the responsibility of the parents/guardians to ensure that students are at the designated locations. LPS will not be responsible for students who are not at the locations at the designated times.

IMPROVES WITH CARIINA
The transportation department at Lincoln Preparatory School partners with Cariina to promote safety, efficiency, and transparency--all while allowing parents to track the buses to which their child(ren) is assigned. Cariina lets parents inform the school of any changes in their child's dismissal routine (i.e., car riders, no bus, late arrival, etc.). All of these features can be at your fingertips by simply downloading the Cariina Parent App. (Available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store)
